if you get offended by this, just think about it for a second.
Just a thought. If I ever get married, it will not be to a religious man or even have it be a religious ceremony. The only reason I will get married is when I realize I want to spend the rest of my life with someone and get the correct legal benefits from marriage. What pisses me off is (well alot of things) but alot of homosexual couples aren't given the right to get married. Why? Because marriage is founded on the basis of a religious idea, and homosexuality is apparently blasphemous. According to those people. And it isn't fair because these people who want to live together aren't given the equal oppurtunity to have the benefits of marriage because everyone twists it all up.

and also. religion in general. man. if you're religious, fine. But be consistent with it! For example. If you're religion preaches that pre-marital sex is bad, and you are having pre-marital sex, then how can you still say that you are a member of that religion? (and people have actually tried to answer this question before, but no answer justifies it. none) I personally feel that there is nothing wrong with pre-marital sex and I also am not a part of some mass cult that preaches that it's wrong. The same cult that will later grant you absolution from such a sin, when it shouldn't be a sin to begin with and oh dear. There is just so much more I can say about this.

and abortion. there should be no question about it being right or wrong. as long as doctors aren't FORCED to do it, then it should be legal. People will always want abortions, so they should be always provided with the proper techniques of having one. and our current president wants to have prayer back in public schools? why is that even an issue. It is just wrong.

and singing at an interfaith thing previously this year, I realized just how little respect athiests and agnostics are actually given. They may slightly aknowledge our existence but then the same man who just did that and preaches about understanding breaks out into , "And there IS a god, and we as a nation know it."

anyway. goodnight.
